Commisioned by Pegasuss as a gift for Endless Night -- the latter's character Duke, the scientist half of a crime scene investigating duo, in his lab office.
The stuff on the blackboard is: A crime scene ("Blunt object" "No fingerprints?"), the equation and diagram for blood spatters, and, up in the upper right, something drawn by Adlai, the other half of the duo.
He has a pack of cigarrettes in his pocket.
The paper on his clipboard is a coroner's report. (That particular one is Elvis Presley's... it was the first one I could find, lol!)

Wow! This turned out awesome! :D I hope most forensic labs have moved beyond blackboard & chalk, but this really gives a nice feel to the background. I think a modern whiteboard would have been too stark.

This is nothing short of brilliant. The character, the background, the textures, and the chalk writing even has the right "chalk" feel to it. Wonderful.
(And yeah, agreed with Sudan Red- a whiteboard would've been too stark. Good call on that- if it was on conscious choice. ;) Even if it wasn't, it's still good!)
